Concept:
The Art Lease Project is a collaboration between Great Southern Artists coordinated by Nat Rad and three venues, Marshall Family Law, Rebecca Stephens and the Hon. Alannah MacTiernan’s office in Albany and both buildings of the Great Southern Specialist Centre.
The venues pay for the coordinator to manage their collections- no charge to the Artist.
Each venue leases the artworks from the artist for the duration of the display time with the ownership remaining with the artist. Artworks are available for sale with the purchaser paying the artist direct and providing 20% sales commission to a charity chosen by the venues.
Nat Rad manages the program through sourcing, installing and return of artworks, promotion of the works leased and acting as the go between for sales to ensure all parties understand the transaction process and receive professional service.
